Python Coruña turns one!

Python Coruña celebrated its first anniversary with a very special meetup, designed to share, learn and, above all, have a great time together as a community.

For the occasion, we had a variety of free snacks, which gave us something to enjoy while chatting and getting down to work with some code. Because during this meetup, we didn’t just snack on food — we also snacked on code.

During the event, we connected a laptop to the venue’s projector and worked through some of the challenges from Advent of Code. The idea was simple: for each challenge, a different person would step up and give it a try. And that’s how, through attempts, mistakes, ideas and the occasional hint, we made our way through the challenges.

One of the most interesting aspects of the meetup was precisely the collaborative atmosphere. It didn’t matter whether you had lots of programming experience or were just taking your first steps: whenever someone got stuck, there were always people ready to share an idea, make a suggestion or lend a hand.

It was a great way to celebrate Python Coruña’s first year: sharing code, learning from each other and enjoying the atmosphere that makes it possible for a community to grow and stay active.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us during this first year! We hope this is just the first of many anniversaries and that we’ll continue meeting up to share Python, knowledge and, of course, some snacks.

We hope to meet again at future gatherings, keep learning together and continue growing this community that gives meaning to initiatives like this.
